Imitation

“It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation.”
– Herman Melville

I was planning on writing a longer post about originality and imitation in photography, but I didn’t have time to do it today. So, I’m posting a link instead to this blog I read a couple of months ago. It’s an interesting read.

Also, I think I have to mention this: that is the UP Oblation and not a real naked man with arms outstretched. I know it’s quite obvious, but well, one can never tell what others might think.
