23+24/365: Shooters

We headed off to Tagaytay yesterday (a two-hour drive from home) for some quiet R&R and a change in temperature. Luckily, when we got there, the weather was picnic-perfect. We decided to spend the whole afternoon at Caleruega, a retreat camp with rustic buildings and beautifully-landscaped gardens. It was exactly what we needed.

I had a very lengthy post in mind when I shot these, but I am dead tired, so those will have to wait till tomorrow.

In the meantime, I hope you had (or are having) a wonderful Sunday.

P.S. There’s an ongoing contest over at Photo.tuts. Up for grabs is a copy of Scott Kelby’s Lighting Techniques DVD. Do check it out.

  1. sounds like a wonderful trip. that’s something i need to do, i have to get out of the house soon. i’m running out of photo ideas. 365 days is a looooong time. Y’s lookin good with that camera. i’m sure it won’t be long before she gets one! she’ll sure gain quite a bit of knowledge with you and R teaching her.

    • she’s already eyeing my d90, nancy… which, i think is a good excuse to buy myself a d700. 😀

i wish we could go out of town every weekend just to shoot.

  2. So when does Y get her own Pro Flickr account? 🙂

    • ed, no flickr for her yet! i once got an invite from someone whose icon was a naked man. lots of crazies out there (not to say that i’m not, just a little less nutty… ha ha).
