Photos of the Day: Dazed and Distorted

I walked around the block today, trying to get rid of a headache and an unexplainable feeling of sadness.

I chanced upon this man who seemed oblivious to the chaos around him. He appeared to be, for lack of a better word, content in his own little world.  I asked to take his photo and he nodded ever so slightly. I chose to shoot him from this angle with the “lady” behind him. Somehow, I think it completes the story.

Further along, my attention was caught by a building’s reflection on the rear windshield and trunk of a car. Somehow, it reminded me of Italy.

The next two shots were taken inside a TV network last night. The first shows boxes of relief goods for distribution to the victims of Typhoon Ketsana; while the second, buildings nearby as seen from behind a satellite dish.
